The time has arrived to begin my 5 months contract with Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas. Words cannot express how excited yet nervous I am. I mean, can you believe it? Today I’m boarding the ship in Southampton, England, tomorrow I’ll be in Le Havre, France.
On one hand, I am super excited to finally live my dream of working on a cruise. But on the other hand, I know it’s going to be hard work (no rest days) and I hope to have the willpower to last all the way through.
I will update again once everything has settled down. But as I have limited internet access on board (no free wifi), I really don’t know when’s the next time I can come online again.
